Graduate Student Association

An open book with the words UMD Graduate Student Association underneath, all on a maroon and gold background.

The student representatives to the UMD Graduate Programs Committee are also the leaders of the Graduate Student Association at UMD. The GSA hosts social, wellness, and professional activities that allow students to meet others from programs outside of their own, as well as give them the opportunity to share their experiences as graduate students at UMD. Join the GSA on Bulldog Connect!

Your student representatives for 2023-24 are:

  • Josie Manning (MA in Psychological Science, 2nd year)
  • Johanna Jernberg (Chemistry MS, 2nd year)
  • Stanley Sujith Nelavala (Computer Science MS, 1st year student)

The GSA Advisor is:

  • Kim Habig (UMD Graduate Office)

You can get info and updates about GSA activities on Facebook and Instagram, too.
